    Healthcare is dynamic and is inclusive of mind, body, and spirit. That’s why Axcella covers 85% of employee’s medical, dental and vision benefits. We also contribute directly to a Healthcare Reimbursement Account, provide short- and long-term disability benefits, and offer the choice to enroll in a Flexible Savings Account.

    Long-term financial health is important to all Axcellans, which is why we offer a 401k plan that matches 50% up to the first 6% of our employee’s contribution in addition to Life Insurance. All Axcellans are eligible for stock option awards and the opportunity to participate in an employee stock purchase plan.

    At Axcella, we believe it is vital for employees to replenish themselves. We offer unlimited personal time off, 13 paid holidays and observe a week-long December holiday shutdown to give our employees an extra boost and well-deserved celebration/family time.
